The Deutsch-Britische Gesellschaft e.V. is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-governmental and politically independent registered association. Its aim is to promote German-British relations in all areas of public and cultural interest. Its goals are:<\/p>\n

  1. to initiate and promote debate on current economic, political and cultural issues,<\/li>\n
  2. to contribute to wider knowledge of all aspects of British culture and lifestyle,<\/li>\n
  3. to break down prevalent stereotypes and foster interpersonal contacts between the two countries,<\/li>\n
  4. to secure and develop a united Europe while maintaining transatlantic ties.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
