Julia Unwin CBE FAcSS
What is the role of civil society in responding to the major challenges and changes in society? How can the Post-Brexit Civil Society Relationship between the UK and Germany be saved and fostered?
Julia Unwin will discuss this with Rupert Graf Strachwitz (Maecenata Foundation / German British Society) and Ansgar Klein (Bundesnetzwerk Bürgerschaftliches Engagement (BBE)) after giving a short presentation of the results of the Civil Society Futures inquiry. This two-year independent inquiry about the future of civil society in England has engaged more than 3,000 people in debate about civil society and their hopes for its future through hundreds of workshops, meetings, events, blogs and academic research.
The discussion will be in English. Comments and questions are welcome in both English and German.
The event is part of the Berliner Stiftungswoche 2019. Please register via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org by April 1st 2019.
