Lucas Oertel
On the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Dresden bombing we would like to celebrate the partnership with our twin city of Coventry by visiting the studio of the 2019 Artist in Residence of the Dresden-Coventry Arts Exchange, Mr. Lucas Oertel.
Lucas spent some time in September and October 2019 in Coventry where he took part in the Arts Exchange Programme organized mainly by the famous Coventry painter John Yeadon. His visit to Britain was supported in part by our association.
In a meeting in his cosy studio he will report to us about his exciting and inspiring time in Coventry, his travels to places of art in Britain and about his life as an artist in general.
