Speaking a common language is a pre-requisite, but not an indicator of how successful one will be when working cross-cultures. Partners from different cultural backgrounds approach things differently. Being successful in another cultural context requires both awareness of one’s own preferences, as well as sensitivity to the others’ needs and expectations. Adapting to different cultures requires the ability to switch one’s own style while remaining authentic.

The interactive presentation will focus on understanding the origins of cultural differences. We will share critical incidents, as well as success strategies for living/working cross-cultures.
